Sugar Syrup

Sugar and water and sometimes corn syrup boiled together; used as sweetening especially in drinks.

Opinion: Now, I myself have done this at home, when I was younger.  My mother taught me how to make pancake syrup like this. Stick a ton of sugar in a saucepan, add water and let it boil until it thickens. I can't say that so much sugar is good for a person, put I find this a more direct way of getting what you want... sweet syrup for those pancake mornings, without all the strange stuff that's added.
