Sorbitan

Any of the anhydrides of sorbitol, the fatty acids of which are surfactants used as emulsifiers in pharmaceutical preparations.

Product is a clear, viscous, nonfammable liquid.  Ingestion of large amounts may result in mild gastrointestinal distress.  Prolonged or repeated skin contact may produce some irritation.
